London can be such a great place to visit. Especially if you have looked into a few places to visit in advance. With parks, dainty boutiques and a great variety of cafés – London is somewhere worth a visit!
Great variety of breakfast, lunch and all day dishes. The colors they’ve used in the interior are beautiful. They have both indoor and outdoor seating – the outdoors’ being in a small lovely courtyard. Farm Girl is located in four different places around the city. We stopped by the one in Notting Hill.

Covent Garden stores many small beautiful stores. Some independed – some more known. Jo Malone, my favorite, being one of them.
Three favorite skincare stores in the city
The most beautiful products. All located in Seven Dials, Monmouth St. In other parts of the city as well but if you are looking to stop by them all, you’ll find them at Seven Dials.
Late night dinner at Stick’n’sushi was a delight. Make sure to make a reservation in advance as this place gets booked quiet quickly – and that for a reason. Quality.

Somewhere we just happened to walk by and wanted to check out. If I had more time this is a place I would very much like to sit, bring a book or a bit of work. When shopping in Seven Dials, you’ll find Canela close and relaxing. They serve food, breakfast, lunch, brunch and evening.

The museum explores conflict and its impact on people’s lives. On were the exhibitions ROBERT CAPA: D-DAY IN 35MM and CULTURE UNDER ATTACK. Both very interesting and daunting. In the Robert Capa exhibition, all shown in one room, you’ll see some of his photographs from D-Day. Maybe the exhibition that caught my attention the most.

The Portobello Marked is one to explore but if you are like me you might find it a bit to busy in the rush hours of the day. Other than that they got fresh fruit and groceries, fashion, food etc – everything all organised in days. Each day selling something different.
The small roads of Notting Hill is where I felt like wandering around. The beautiful off-white color on the walls, boutique stores located on every corner.

Yes you’ll most likely be standing in a line to get into The Breakfast Club – but yes it is worth it. With a great variety of different breakfast dishes that you can choose from all day and with a friendly staff – this is somewhere I would go back to.

Even though we have been here before – Buckingham Palace is one to see. Yes it is one of the most crowed places in the city and no I would not stand still there for long. But it is beautiful. The architecture, colors and history of this building – this is one to see.
A beautiful, ethical, sustainable store in the heart of London. Quality before quantity. The Cotton Story with their simplicity and beautiful shades, their timeless pieces are pieces in your wardrobe you reach for.

The store opened in 1979. It originally specialised in travel books only but have now a great selections of different genres as well. The travel section is still a big part of the store, which I find to be a special and nice gesture. The movie Notting Hill bookshop was copied by this stores interior and that’s for a reason. It is a beautiful bookshop indeed. And it inspired me to watch the movie once more – I’ll make some time for that this weekend.

What a lovely bookstore in one of the pretty, small roads of Notting Hill. Such a sweet staff. Make sure to take time to looks through the shelves. Suddenly you’ll find yourself a book that will surprise, delight or inform you. That’s what happened to me. The book store was founded 10 years ago, in 2009. Poetry, art books, fiction, general non-fiction, you’ll most likely find something that would suit you and your interests.

On the day we were walking around London it happened to be the day of the Pride Parade. A bit too crowed, to say the least, made it hard for us to walk around the square, and we had to try to find narrow streets to get us out of the festivities. On any other normal day you’ll be able to see more of the square. It is one of the most known attractions in the city but worth a visit indeed.
Construction work was being done to the The House of Parliament’s clock tower as we walked by but there is something I don’t visit this Iconic landmark every time I’m in the city but was nice walking by it on our stroll to Covent Garden and Seven Dials. Reminds me a bit of Peter Pan.
In Soho you’ll find Carnaby Street. Here you’ll find cafés, restaurants, bars serving over 30 global cuisines, independent boutiques – and so much more.
On a busy day wandering around the city it is nice to sit down for a while to just think, reflect or plan the rest of your day. We stopped by Monmouth Kitchen for a few drinks.

Architecture
One of the things I love most about the city, except its great diversity, is the architecture. Wherever you look around you’ll most likely be greeted by old, beautiful building with stories from decades of human beings lives. The homes of others is also something that draws me to walk around the city. Imagining people living in these beautiful buildings.
Ended our trip in the park. 2 hours sitting down in comfortable chairs reading books, listening to a podcast. Watching people walking by. To be able to take a step back from the busy life of the city to just relax. Having that and the endless options of things to do in the city – London has quickly become somewhere I feel at ease.
