Mangolassi

1–2 minutes

This refreshing drink has its origin from northern India. You can get Lassi either spicy, salty or sweet. Here I have gone for a sweet one. The drink is made with yogurt and is therefore excellent as dessert after a spicy meal.

Serves: 2
Time: 10-15 minutes

Ingredients
  • 1 ripe mango
  • 1 dl orange juice (I have also tried this one with pineapple just which also works)
  • 1 dl natural yoghurt or kefir / buttermilk
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp grated coconut

 How to
  1. Peel the mango and cut into chunks. Put it in a bowl and add orange juice and yogurt.
  2. Run with a hand blender until the drink is smooth in consistency .
  3. Serve in glasses with ice cubes or run them in the blender with the drink.
  4. Drizzle over some coconut.
  5. Enjoy and let me know how it went!
