Trails that lead to quiet beaches

It’s one of those places with the pink roses and the white picket fences, with trails that lead to quiet beaches and small colorful fishing huts.
On friday my family and I spend the day on an Island in Sweden called Resö. We used to sail here every year with our sailboat, but since we’ve sold it we haven’t gotten the chance to come here as much. But all of that didn’t stop us for visiting Resö this year as well and I’m so happy we did!
We woke up at 8am and headed out on a day trip. We ate lunch at Panget Café (blog post coming your way – Friday), catched up on some reading and layed by the beach listening to the waves whilst almost falling asleep. We walked for a bit and ate dinner at the Lexö Restaurant.  When the evening got around we drove home listening to Daddy Lessons. The drive home is about 1 1/2 hours. I ended the day of by sitting in my pyjamas watching Modern Family as you do. Here’s a peek at the day in images:

    1. It truly is a unique place where time sometimes feels like it’s at pause.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by my site – hope you’re having a great day!

Maybe you would find this place just as beautiful? It’s a video from a lighthouse that I once stayed at:
