I turn 21 today. Turning 21, or any other age for that matter, is a scary yet wonderful thing. Here are 21 things I’ve learned and that I choose to believe is important to me.
-
If you get the change to travel, travel as much as you can
-
Family is the most important thing
-
There’s nothing better than fresh berries on a summer day
-
You can’t change the things that has been done. It’s better to do things, then regret not doing it.
-
Maybe you’ll never quite know who you are and that’s okay
-
The world is a scary place, but don’t let that stop you from doing the things you want
-
Regret is a part of life
-
Late summer nights in Norway when the sun never goes down is not like anything else
-
The future is bright
-
Sit down and listen to your heart
-
Talk to the old lady walking past you on her morning stroll.
-
Follow your gut feeling, it is usually right. Take risks!
-
Don’t be afraid of telling others your dreams
-
Dare to be yourself. Take time to remember who you were and who you want to be to your family and friends
-
Vurnability is beautiful.
-
Go outside more! (you haven’t been the best at this, but you should)
-
Don’t worry about time, you’re not that old!
-
There’s so much great with being 20 +. Enjoy it!
-
Take care of traditions.
-
Take time to relax and do nothing!
-
Smile at strangers
