I’m sitting on a pier in Venice Beach. Surrounded by seagulls and sun.
It was gloomy this morning. Planes are departing LAX in the distance.
A guy is telling a story to himself. As a kid this one movie made me cry…
I am wearing a hat saving me from being sunburned. Because that is what happened to my shoulders walking the malibu beach.
The palm trees create a line along the boardwalk.
and the guy I was telling you about. after the word cry he stopped, went quiet and started on a new story
– and I guess we will never know what movie made him cry.
I will take off my shoes now – sitting barefoot in the sand.
That is what I will do.
