Today marks Norways Constitution day. What I love the most about this day is all the colors that light up the streets, seeing loved ones out talking to people and seeing them all smiling.

There is something so wonderful about walking outside, hopefully being met by the sun shining at us, hearing the birds sing and just breathing in the fresh air that is the norwegian countryside.

This is a day we celebrate being norwegian, coming together as one, wearing our bunads, eating ice cream, spending time together and just having a great time.

To me, my bunad, it’s the most beautiful piece of art that I’ll ever own. Mine is handmade by my grandmother. It makes me proud to not only be norwegian but to be her granddaughter. Nothing makes me more proud.
